Networking - secure, shared files and folders
With
Diino you get your own private network over the Internet. Diino
provides you with a secure networking solution.
Store, share, stream, manage and access your files online easily
with Diino. Diino users can start their own authorized file-sharing
network quickly to connect with family, friends and colleagues.
Diino account holders can easily make files available to those
they wish to have access, by providing them with a username and
password for a specific file, folder of files, photo album or music catalogue.
The connection between your computer and Diino is securely encrypted – no
one can wiretap you. This means no one can steal and read your
files when you are using your Diino account, or when your files
are being accessed by your trusted friends or colleagues.
Your Diino account is protected by your username and password,
which you choose yourself. The Diino client, the program you use
to access your files, can be installed on any Windows PC or can be used
directly from a USB flash drive, or CD without installation.
When you log into Diino an encrypted tunnel is set up between
the Diino client software on your computer and the Diino server
on the internet. No one without your permission can access the traffic
or the files. The system is extremely secure.
Diino goes through firewalls, both in companies and at home. This
is because it’s just regular web traffic. If Internet
Banking works, Diino will work. Your files are also secured from viruses,
as they are stored separately from your computer (and for the techies out there,
Diino uses Unix servers).
You can now also access your files through a common web-browser or
cell phone. Just put the files into your web catalogue in Diino.
You can choose to protect these files with username and password.
If you want to share it, Diino it!
